With a decent cast and an interesting basic plot, this one had the potential to become something better. However, the story went down the drain towards the end.
Some parts don't connect very well, the story overall doesn't completely make sense. If the movie had been edited properly and a few changes made here and there, especially toward the end, it could have been a very good movie.
It was entertaining in parts, but overall it's a mediocre horror movie.

I cannot understand the low ratings here. Seriously. To me personally it is fairly rare to see a film that is this well presented and conceived. It most certainly isn't your usual quickie slam/bang Horror film, but I feel that it is quite well written, acted, and executed.
The main thing that impressed me about this one is the clever concept and the intelligence behind it. At the beginning you may understandably draw the conclusion, Oh this is just another one of THOSE movies' BUT. that is not the case. With so many Horror films cranked out these days and mostly of fairly dubious quality, when one comes along that to me anyway is this well done, I honestly am completely puzzled by the low ratings. It's like, what the hell do you want out of a Horror movie then. In my lowly and wretched opinion, I truly cannot see how it could have been written or directed any better. The acting across the board was very good. None of the characters, who could have VERY easily come across as cliched stereotypes, did at all. They were real, dimensional, believable people.
So, I have NO bloody idea what these other people could possibly be looking for in a good Horror movie. This one I feel is very intelligent, engaging, suspenseful, and keeps a pretty strong grip on you all the way through. And, without giving anything away (avoid Spoilers at all cost! a great clever ending. And, especially so, as I mentioned before, when graded on the curve of what usually passes for Horror these days.
Basically, if you appreciate a story that is entertaining, well thought out and well put together, I see absolutely no reason why you wouldn't completely enjoy this movie.
